I have all the moves, but I have one question out to a player that made an illegal move. Once I get the correction, I will post the map.
I think I will start reading the orders as I get them, as opposed to waiting till I get everyone's, just so I can move the process along. I won't do any politicing (i.e. cheating) however once I get the first order for a turn. So if you have something diplomatic to say to me, make sure you do it early!

Looking at turn 1's battles and calculating the odds...
HN is hunter frigate, right? Tugger seems to have moved frigates on to my planets, for some reason. What benefit is gained by suiciding frigates like that?
On the big battle at the neutral planet between me and the Hydrans, Tugger has an Overlord (6 fighters), 2xDragoon (3 fighters each, for 6 fighters) and three Tartars (no fighters). IIRC fighters have a FCP cost of 1 each. So the largest battle force Tugger can put together is...
Overlord (0 FCP cost, provides 52 FCPs) cost 6 FCP for the fighters
Dragoon 10 + 3 FCP for fighters
Dragoon 10 + 3 FCP for fighters + 1 identical hull surcharge
Tartar 9 FCP
Tartar 9 FCP + 1 identical hull surcharge
Total is 6 + 13 + 14 + 9 + 10 = 52
This leaves one of the Tartars in excess of command limits.
It looks like a pretty even fight in terms of points cost, I think the Kzintis are about 15 points better. I fully expect a bloodbath!

terryoc, a few answers for you.
First, I will be retreating those HN from battle, without trying to fight. You gain 5ep for my retreat. You also LOSE the production ep for those planets, since there are enemy forces present.
In the major battle, we had established in the rules that I can -not use- fighters in order to balance my FCP cost, so by leaving most of my fighters behind, I can bring the last Tartar along to play...if I choose. Also, fighters are .5 FCP each, not 1.
Looking forward to the battle...unless you wish to surrender now?

So where are the fighters hiding while the ships fight? Another question: given that this is at a neutral planet, what happens with regards to the local defense? Is it a three-way battle, or does the winner take on the local force?
