A couple of scout questions
Can scouts use their sensor channels while on EM? (I'd assume not, but...)
Does the release of an ESG burst blind a channel?
Does the release of an ESG burst blind a channel?

??? The point of BoM materiel is that it's there if you want to experiment with it.Ah I see. So there are no scouts in FC.
If you and your group wish to include scouts, you can use these guidelines. If you don't like the playtest rules, change them, play with the changes and post an after-action report.
It's meant *not* to suck.

Well, just to make things confusing, there are two sets of Special Sensors rules.
The more complicated version of Special Sensors rules was published in a Captain's Log, then later in a Communique. This link holds the uploaded version that includes updates for it. [This was the link provided by Dan.]
The simpler version of Special Sensor rules was published in Hydran Attack. These rules are specifically intended to give the Federation Scout in Booster 91 something to do. Also note that the rules published in Hydran Attack did not include the last two parts of the rule in this link. (There just wasn't room to put them all in.) [This was the link provided by Wedge.]
Again, the latter version is solely intended to give the Federation Scout in Booster 91 something to do with its eight channels. That said, playtest reports on both versions, including which version is preferable or "better" are always a good idea, as that will help influence what is officially done when Borders of Madness #1 is eventually published. [Please send all playtest reports to Steve Cole.]
