What are the optional rules you use the most? [POLL]

Post by droberts441 »

I am usually a luker more than a poster, but since my request was granted for SFBF to have its own Forum here, I figured I would ask a poll to contribute to the new forum.

I don't use optional rules for most games. I generally try to play Advanced Rules without Optional Rules for the different games I play (makes it easier to play with others sometimes if everyone is on the same "official" rules), but ocassionally Optional Rules are just too good to pass on.

I am interested in the Optional Rules for SFBF you use the most and/or your favorite rule.

Tell us why you like it so much, and why the rest of us should play with the rule.

Note: I couldn't fit all of the different rules in the poll, so I tried to use the one I thought people used the most.

We in Battlegroup Murfreesboro try to avoid optional rules whenever possible.
That being said, we do try to use every "official" rule out there, including advanced rules.

In a 4 or more player game however; we will use the Player Order cards - just to liven things up.

I think that the ability to draw to the top card of the discard pile adds a lot more to the game. For example, if you just used a reinforcement card, you have to discard something to keep the opponent from getting it. In my opinion, it also makes the game more realistic.
