SFU hauls!

Post by Nerroth »

Hi.

If/when you pick up new Star Fleet Universe swag, maybe you could post about your new arrivals here.

For example, this little set showed up in the mail today!

Now, to see about the stuff my FLGS should (eventually) be getting in...

What have you got to show off?

LOL!

My most recent swag was Captain's Log #41 and War & Peace!

Garrrrry I'm jealous of your huge juggernaut (so to speak). My FNSLGS (friendly not so local game store) is having a sale, I want to pick up SFBF.

There's only one r in my name, Terry!

At least you got your copy of W&P already...

Just got my copy of W&P too, Terry. I have to say, it's pretty sweet. Already started devouring the rules. It seems that the quality of the tokens have improved as well; the card they're printed on is less fibrous and a nice, clean white the whole way through.

(Anyone notice the half-inch tokens marked "OGR" and "OGD?" Interesting...)

Congrats to ADB on another nicely done product!

Sory, Neroth. I have an uncle whose name has two rr's, so I tend to make that mistake.

Terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry:

We could do this all day, mate!

Rick:

Funny you should mention the OGR and OGD counters... (The ships in question are in CL40, if you missed them.)

Gary, I wish I had more than pocket change to rub together or I would pick up a ton of the Logs. Seems like there's a bunch of great content in 'em and I'm always missing out on it.

War & Peace was actually a gift from my wife. She's a sweetheart.

I'm going to take a stab and say that those tokens are for Organian ships. Am I correct?

They are the Pirate Raider and Destroyer from M81; otherwise known as the Tholian (now Seltorian) Old/Home Galaxy.

They are interesting designs; not least because they can snag a freighter underneath their big port wings, then haul it away for fun and plunder!

Crazy. Well, my guess was completely off. I guess the "OG" threw me. Sound interesting though.

Speaking of interesting, the Imperium playtest ships for the Triangulum Galaxy were one of the reasons CL23 is in that order (the other being the 4 Vari torpedo ships I wanted to look at for the Omega project).

I'm trying to hold back the urge to write up rules converting them into FC... at least Omega stuff is from formally published modules!

Sigh.

I don't have a pic for it, but I got R12 yesterday.

For some reason, the distributors didn't send W&P in the same shipment... but hopefully it will arrive at the end of this week.

No photo either I'm afraid, but W&P, the three boosters for it, and CL 41 arrived today :D

For my part, I was able to get Boosters #28 through #30; unfortunately, the distributor, who had declined to include the boosters in last week's order, went and left War and Peace out of this one!

I'll have to wait until next week at least...

A similar boo-boo happened to me.
I got War & Peace and the Andro booster, but was mistakenly sent the horrible 'Blue Ships' booster instead of the one containing the far superior Vudar vessels.

This has delayed my fighting the Vudar War of Independence for at least a week, and promises to for another week.

I picked up W&P and boosters 28-30 from my LGS last Friday. Placed the order with them on Tuesday (they don't stock the game...grrr) and they notified me it was in on Thursday. Nice turnaround on a 100% fill!
