Module Y3

Post by Jean »

Here's a preliminary look at the cover for Y3. The artist will add weapons fire and combat damage before it's finished. At this step, we're testing layout to see if the logos and titles fit. Enjoy!

Why do those Tholians remind me of wedges for holding doors open? Or perhaps icing bags, for squeezing icing on to cakes.

Or perhaps a Tholian Dust Devil (or other battery powered hand vacuum cleaner)??

Seriously though, it looks like it will turn out to be a really nice cover even though it shows innocent Klingon cruisers being beaten up by Tholian bullies who stole territory from the Klingons when they first moved in.

Actually... to me they look more like the brass plumb-bobs a surveyor would use.

Looks to be some redesigned Neo-Tholian command modules trying to drive off a pair of Klingon D4s. The "handles" in the back are were the original designs would connect to their rear hull.

The NDD and NFF can separate? Or is there going to be some new early years Tholian ship?
