FC0002 - Federation (Pinecone) vs. Orions (Scoutdad)
First off, Pinecone wants to know if the Feds are available, absolutely. This game will follow all the Origins 2010 fleet slection rules at http://www.starfleetgames.com/federatio ... php?t=2900
For my own sanity, I am not allowing War and Peace ships because I don't own it yet (too much buying minis, you know). Aloha fleets are allowed.
If you guys would rather play fleet scale, then the min/max BPV of each fleet is 210/225 points.
Allright, PC, I await your response.

Fleet it is. I am on my way to the basement to devise a squadron. Eric, you should get a response by late tommorow, If not I'll notify you.
Origins fleet rules, but I'm assuming that you can use non-laminated ships, based on the fact that you used an NCD in your last match Eric? Because I plan on using the Hawaiian Heavy Cruiser
(or, if not that, the CAR from booster 91)
Thanks and I'll get back to you soon.

Scenario
(1) BATTLE OF THE AGES
The renegade Kzinti Captain, "Cat with One Eye," is trying to improve his standing with the Daven Cartel crime lords through a series of daring raids on every squadron he can find. This time his target is a Federation battle fleet patrolling near the Romulan border. A young captain commands the fleet; his inexperience might be a liability against the skilled Kzinti corsair, but his brashness and unpredictable tactics might be his greatest strength.
(1a) NUMBER OF PLAYERS
Two: The Federation player, and the Orion player.
(1b) INITIAL SETUP
Map: The combat will take place on a standard SFB map (42 hexes by 30 hexes). This map is fixed; it does not "float" in any manner. Any ship which leaves the map as a result of the player's own movement (or the movement of a ship he tractored) is considered destroyed. Any ship held in a tractor beam that is forced off the map as a result of the opposing ship's movement is immediately released from the tractor in the last hex of the map (and does not leave the map). If its facing is such that its next movement would force it to exit the map and it cannot turn by any means to avoid doing so, it immediately drops to speed zero in that hex. Drones, shuttles, and plasma torpedoes whose movement would force them to exit the map are destroyed.
Ships with cloaking devices can use them for a total of 48 impulses, including the fade impulses, in any given game. At the end of the 48th impulse, the cloaking devices fail and will no longer function for the remainder of that game. Note that this is for each individual ship. This applies whether the opposing ships have cloaking devices or not.
Scale: This scenario is played at fleet scale.
Federation: Place these ships, each within one hex of hex 0202, each facing direction C: the CAR “Constellation, the DDL “Smith, the DW “Conifer, and the FFB “Pegasus. The point total is 221 BPV.
Orions: Place these ships, each within one hex of hex 4129, each facing direction F: the CA “Evil Eye, the Raider Cruiser “Black Fire, the LR “Evey’s Treasure, and the SAL “Burden of Proof. Each are armed with these option mounts:
• CA: #A PH-1, #B PH-3, and #Z PH-G.
• Raider Cruiser: #A PH-1, and #Z PH-1,
• LR: #Y PH-3, and #Z PH-3,
• SAL: #A PH-G, #Y PH-1, and #Z PH-1.
The point total of the Orion fleet is 225 BPV.
(1c) OBJECTIVE
Mission- Federation: Star Fleet has standing orders for all ships to stop Captain Cat With One Eye at all costs. Destroy all his ships.
Mission- Orion: Prove yourself to the cartel: destroy or capture the opposing ships.
Victory: The victory point system determines the winner. The Federation begins play with 3 points due to fleet size differential.
Time Limit: The scenario continues until one side has destroyed or captured the other, or by concession.
