Wow, cool scenario. Yeah, I guess my fleet was on the Romulan Border, what with the DDL and FFB. I shall bring Cat with one Eye to justice.

And yes, I'm sure you can guess where my DW's name came from :D

Well, Tony came up with the character and motivation for Cat With One Eye, so I took it from there. Its good to have some kind of back story to give the game some depth.

I did think it would be cool to set it in a dust cloud, but I thought I want to keep it simple for this game. Next time...

Eric:
Why are my ships 1 hex from the map edge... facing the map edge... on a fixed map?

Please tell me that's an error and that they should be facing F.

Nah. He's just giving pinecone an edge. :D

Trying to see if you can win an uphill battle.

Cat with one Eye is a master, of, uh, unpredictable tactics.

Just wondering: where do you actually see the map?

It's already an uphill battle... I based my fleet on the FCOL tourney fleet I wanted to use, but some of the units I desired aren't in FCOL yet... so the SAL/CR combo is acompromised based on available units rather than desired units...

Oh well... when in the history of combat has a commandign officer been able to select everything he wants before he goes into battle?

Is there any place where I can actually see the map? I can recreate it, but I won't be able to follow it closely enough to send correct orders.

You could just surrender!

I'm not sure what Eric has planned, but I'd expect something similar to what I was doing for his and Terry's game.
You saw the snippets of hte map posted tothe forum? Those were only images of the key moments. Terry and Eric recived an updated map image with every Sit Rep.

Check the email. I sent some stuff to you, including the blank map so you can keep track of things.

Humm... I no see it.

But that's okay. I have the SFB basic map (I recently bought it as a spare part). So I'm creating the map for visual purposes.
