Pinecone! You Tholian abuser!

* SWAT * (with the maple cane)

We don't abuse our Tholians on this Forum. Just shoot their ships and put them out of their misery quickly!

* WebMom whips around the corner of the Forum maze and resumes her patrol *

Don't mess with the Tholians ---

Their little ones make nice foot warmers for the bed -- a nice wrap to prevent getting burned works nicely ---

Just like a puppy sleeping at the foot of your bed --- Except of the shedding --

You know, That would actually be sort of funny... A group of Seletorian Marines armed with Squirt Guns :) Painful and Deadly.

Garrett vs. Drew has been postponed to 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern today (Saturday the 11th). We might only be playing for 2-3 hours, but we should be able to at least get a turn or two in.

Pinecone vs. Jim_Dauphinias occured today. Good enjoyable battle. At current, we might continue but Jim has considered conceeding. The Tholian NCA has been destroyed, and the Federation DW is badly crippled. No other internals; Fed photons will be reloaded next turn. Shield damage on:

BCF: #1 shield
CC: #2 shield
CA-1: #1 shield

To add, My Tholian CA-1 and CA-2 have both spent their free HETs. Only Pinecone's BCF has spent its free HET.

It was a very enjoyable game. Pinecone played very well. His only significant mistake was to keep his Evasive Maneuvers up one impulse too many (which casued his Fed DW to be seriously gutted) in his otherwise excellent effort to prevent me from sabre dancing him. He was also quite prudent in his use of his drones and plasma Fs to finish off my NCA. He also recognzied and well used a hit and run raid opportunity.

My major gaff was chickening out on closing to a closer distance with my two CAs on his CC on Turn 3. The CC was his only ship that was in position to use photons on that turn and his BCF had become separated from the CC after Pinecone used a HET with the BCF to further his ultimately sucessful effort to blow up my NCA.

I need to study the save file to determine whether it has mathematically become extremely unlikely for me to win. If it has, I will be conceding. Otherwise, I look forward to playing it out another turn or two.

Garrett vs. Drew was played today (Kzinti vs. Fed). The Kzintis (Garrett) managed to claim victory. I had a great time, thanks Drew! Looking forward to the next battle.

So for wins and losses go to the above URL and click on the "Tournament Report Results" link. Make sure that "Federation Commander Online Tournament #1" is selected in the drop down, enter your callsign and password and select whether you won or lost and the page will be updated and Emails will go out reporting the win/loss.
Ok, really? In addition to the winner being in Fuschia, must it say "reporting a LOSER"? Can't it just say "reports a loss"?

Alas, I fear there won't be a next battle. But still, well played, and thank you for being so patient for someone with no experience with the online client.
