Er... okay. A little background would help, I guess I need to read a little. It seems they're delivering / waiting for a delivery of something, and have gone off because it never got delivered?

I'm just some passerby, or am I involved? Presumably, one of the guards, perhaps? If so, I have my own gear list, or issued stuff?

If it's all right, since I can't get on from work like I do with my other sites, I'll post presuming I'm a guard with my own gear. Please edit or delete anything that is an incorrect presumption.

Could someone from the game get Flax up to speed on "the story so far"?

I'm afraid I'll give something away if I do that. ;)

Also... I'm fighting the first cold of the season. :(

we got a job, to escort a guy to a deal.
the guy that he was trying to meet never showed up.
we tracked him down, and he was fragged. Found an item there in a drawer, broke it when we tried to get it out of it's container.

then we went back to the guy (Tarsh) and he was being assaulted. Things didn't go well, Tarsh is fragged. He gave us a data chip that I can't read in my standard federation tricorder. I think Tarsh was a Klingon, not an Andorian.

Figured out that Tarsh might have been working for a powerful Klingon Merchant.

I took some notes:
Captain Jack's Mental Notes:

X'al Fen - dead. Was the guy with the Wing unknown object in the hidden drawer compartment.

Tarsh is possibly Karn Cheyeng - Dead. Was an Andorian, think he was a Klingon.

Seems like Tarsh wanted that data chip to get to Muankaal, a powerful klingon merchant. Maybe we should do that?

X'al Fen was going to meet with Tarsh, and then Rokerig on the night he was killed.

X'al Fen had a object hidden in his drawer. It's possible he was going to sell it to Muankaal via Tarsh and then take the $40k to Rokerig to pay a debt.

Muankaal probably has money, and we're pretty broke. I wonder if Muankaal would give me a small Free Trader ship in exchange to get the item + data and to get me off this rock and away from him...

Thanks. I guess I'll see if I was right about being one of the guards when I go to the IC thread...

And take care of the cold. It'll just get worse if you try to RP too much. Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything...

You are Fred... an ex-guard. You used to work with folks like that in Black Nebula, but you got let go. Now you're getting into trouble with Skexis and Captain Jack. Marcus Kane, too, when he's not doing the lone wolf thing, anyway.

Sorry about the confusion. Hope things become clear!

Hey I see it as contributing to the group. He is sacrificing himself for the group...yeah that's it...besides he probably just insult Mukakill anyways since he doesn't like Klingons. best he sits this one out. Just don't forget to collect him when you leave!

Flax, she's a Klingon chick...

it's very likely she's used to other Klingons being aggressive...

Gotta keep in mind that Klingons usually are into "Pah-mah-toh..."

That's something like order, righteousness, and strength...

so I was trying to project a little order and strength there... ;)

Doh!

Well, I guess I need a little more background than i thought... I mean, attractive is well & good, but attractive with a wrinkly forehead might be a little more informative... :P

Ah well. No harm done... yet. ;) We'll see if she likes me enough for that, first.

Minor quibble: this is TOS style Trek-- no rippled foreheads in this continuity. ;)

Flax, do you want to explain?

If not, I'm telling him everything we know, the "truth" as I figure it.

There were two kinds of Kilngons in TOS. However, I approve of having only the one (uglier) type. :)
