After having some experience with multi-player games though, I'd suggest one change.
Use Fleet scale and limit it to 75 points or so. If you manage to get 4 or 5 players, it'll take 7 or 8 hours to play a full game using Squadron scale. At least with fleet scale, the time frame will be more managable.

That might make for a good change, although it was just me and eric last game so I'm not sure.
And an interesting game it was! I had a Tholian CAP and Eric used a Frax CA. I made a tactical error in, uh, bob (The Name of my short-lived web hexes). Erics main problem was that he was going too fast.
Are we on again for this Sunday (the 7th)? I should be able to make it at about 10am PST (I believe the time change happens then) to finish the game we started last Sunday.

Just a reminder to all that the time change back to Daylight Standard Time happens then. Remember to set your clocks back an hour on Saturday night (the 6th).
