Are e23 releases considered "valid" for this event? Might be fun to try something truly weird (like a Frax submarine) if so. If you win, fine. If not, your opponent is left wondering how to integrate this bizarre ship into his fleet :D

Still Need Players?

Post by USMC2USAF »

I'm relatively new to Federation Commander and only have about six realtime (face-to-face) games under my belt. I've never played PBEM before but, it sounds interesting. If you are accepting newbies, I would like to participate as well.
Thanks!

Respectfully,
KEVIN

@terry: Terry, while I like the Frax - I'd rather not scare off any potential players who do not have access to e23 products, so let's say No on that one.
Now, when this is over; if you'd like to do a separate game as the Frax - then I'm willing to go agaist them.

@Kevin: As far as I know, there are only 6 or 7 of us who've played Fed Comm via email before. That being said, nearly all of this group are newbies. You're #16 and welcome aboard.

I'm going to work up the match-ups and get them ready to post.
Please send me your ship ASAP.
As soon as both members of a game submit their ship, that game will start.

I will keep the final game (the one I'm in) open until everyone else has started, in case another player wants to join in my place.

With that in mind, We're off!

Just to make it easy on myself (and whoever beats me), I won't go with anything terribly odd.

Terry, don't worry. I'm the worst tactician ever.

Sent in my choice to Tony. I am prepared for my stomping!

Hah. You haven't seen my blunders on the board yet. :oops:

@Tony -

The gig I've been madly preparing for three months is this Saturday. I'll have headspace to spare for this, once I'm past that.

@Will: no problem.
Conveniently enough - your scheduled opponent emailed me earlier today to let me know that he was busy through Saturdya and wondered if this weekend would be an acceptable time limit for submitting a ship selection and getting ready to start.

How serendipitious.
