Just a quick reminder to keep it clean when invoking the Erotic Arts skill (or attempting to do so). Anything explicit needs to be discussed by email.

You haven't crossed the line yet, but as a GM, I know how easy it is for things to get more ... "interesting" ... quickly.

"you want I should ask Guido? Guido knows everything about people who do things they shouldn't be doing. I wouldn't be surprised, if it were for money, if he got a piece of it.

"Of course, if it were for money, and he got a piece of it, and it was something that might happen again, he might be a little reluctant to tell us anything that would shut down the pipeline. What's our story gonna be? I mean, he'd probably understand something like 'this guy pissed us off' or something simple like that. So long as we're not out to shut it down and someone else can fill in the empty holes, he probably wouldn't care."

(OOC: Thanks, Jean. I know, I run a couple of sites similar to this myself. We have an adult area in one, and they even cross the line there, where they're more or less allowed to. They break the law, we warn them once, then kick them out. They break the rules, we're a little more lenient and tell them to go to the adult area.)

"Just ask Guido if he clams up I'll take care of getting info out of him."as he pounds his fist into his palm.

Skexis is going to go for a walk and unobtrusively eavesdrop on conversations, particularly among Klingons and Hildarians.

"Guido's not the sort of guy you wanna pound," he warns. "If three guys next to him with disruptors don't nail you way before you can do it, thirty guys will come looking for you later with sonic screamers and use them to peel back your muscles while you're still alive. I think that's why they're called screamers, not because the noise they make, because they noise you make."

"Anyhow, I'll go see what he knows."

Marcus sarcastically says,"Yeah I'll take heed of your warning..now just get in touch with this guy and let me worry about the screams." Looking at Captain Jack and Skexis he says while throwing a thumb at Fred,"Like I've never dealt with Goons like Guido before...as if I'm amateur or something."

[11 or less (3d6=7)] Skexis knows something is not quite right: "Rocky" is not a nomad name. [This is via a successful area knowledge check.]

"Guido" has a place on the edge of town near the nomad quarter, but still pretty close to the starport. Definitely the low rent district.

You head in through the coin laundramat, through the doorway made from hanging bead-strings.

As you walk in, it appears that a group of armed adventurers is nothing particularly alarming around here.

[Contact... reliable... 12 or less (3d6=13)]

"Guido" is yelling into a communicator as you walk in. He looks up from his paperwork on his imposing desk. "Look boys, I'm really tied up today. I've got all of these shipments of illicit goods rotting in their cargo containers and I simply *have* move as many of them as I can."

There are two big dudes with disruptors standing behind him, trying to look as imposing as possible. A couple of others are fiddling with equipment consoles in the back.

Captain Jack says "Hey Marcus, this is pointless here, let's go back to the nomad quarter bazaar and ask around for Rocky... And failing that, we'll check out the local entertainment checking for Rocky..."

Marcus holds up his hand to Captain Jack and with a smile he says,"Hold up a minute...i wannna see if the hot shot can pull through or if he is really taking out his rear end as I have always suspected."

"I always talk out my rear end," he tells Marcus, "But I said, Guido would know, not that Guido would tell me."

He looks at Guido and says, "How much will it cost me? Or maybe, a little help moving your merchandise...?"

(OOC: I don't know how much is 'one day's income', but he'll offer him something around that, if it's not too much, listening to see if he seriously hints at more or it's just the usual wanting more.)

Guido holds up a claw as he makes each rhetorical question:

"A, how much actual cash money do you have?

"B, are you telling me you schmo's have a ship...? You expect me to believe that...?

"C, do you realize how many freighters have failed to show up here in the past three days...?!

"And not least... D! How many times have I told you not to call me Guido?!

"Do you realize my entire operation is about to be ruined!?

"Argh!"

He turns back to his work in his usual dismissive way, as if he were 100% sure you could not possibly help him out....

He elbows Captain Jack, and whispers, "We know anyone with a ship?"

(OOC: Not the Cygnan babe? Never did find out what she did, and I know they're all into tech...)

"I got more money than brains. Well, I even got enough money to make a difference with you, anyhow. But I guess that's a moot point," he says, turning to leave.

Captain Jack whispers back, "I know how to get a ship, however, they tend to call it 'Grand Theft Starship' these days... if I had access to a ship, I wouldn't be here..."

Marcus says,"This a waste of time. This guy isn't going to tell us anything. We are going to do the job for him and he going to leave us with nothing. Lets go to the Nomad Quarter. "
