Actually... finely ground (finer than 325 microns) Silca can be added to concrete. It serves to densify the concrete matrix and as a naturally occuring pozzolan, it can replace a portion of the cement itself. This provides a stronger, more resilient product.

The perfect avenue for a Silicate invasion plan. Infiltrate the Earthlings infra-structure.
