SFB / FC Ship Conversion to Klingon / Romulan Armada ?

Dear Friends,

We have the conversion formulae for SFB SSDs to FC Ship Cards, but are there formulae for converting SFB SSDs / FC SCs to Klingon / Romulan Armada formats ?

Well, if you have the Starmada rulebook, that has ship design rules that you can use to do conversions, along with the data in Klingon/Romulan Armada. It should be noted that there are certain fudges needed to make the ships work in Starmada format, because SFU ships have more non-combat functions than Starmada ships do and so SFU ships appear to have more space in them than Starmada ships do.

Pretty much all the FC ships have been done for Admiralty and Nova edition. You can use the shipyard spreadsheet or the design rules in rule book. FC ships tend to be TL +1 in Nova. Everything works except the plasma torpedoes are too big. There is a size mod for them because they only score dmg on a 6 . Looking for it. If you don't want to follow the armada designs exactly you can make all the FC ships yourself.
