Marcus lays there thinking "I can't win....I tangled with this lady twice and she got away....." He says,"Duh!" to Fred's comment.

OOC: it was between AOA determined to the face and what I did...I guess I chose wrong! KHANNNNNNNNNNNNN!

Fred asked for a dodge... Man, there's no way he can make it...

Let's just give it to him anyway, though:

[Dodge, 7 or less...? (3d6=6)]

Doh!

Guns: Submachine gun... 15 or less... range... -1 mod... darkness(?) -2... +2 for rapid fire.... 14 or less; maybe not entirely fair....

[14 or less smg... (3d6=12)]

Thats a good 2 hits if recoil is 1 on that thing. But most SMG's are at least 2. So... even if I fudged on the to-hit mods... it's no more than one or two hits. Call it two hits.

4d6+2 pi+ damage...

Damage that gets past her armor is x1.5.

[Damage for SMG... (4d6+2=14, 4d6+2=17)]

Wait it was recoil-3, so 2 hits is reasonable....

[GM looks at papers behind his screen and then says with a straight face...]

There's no armor divisor on that damage, so it doesn't seem to do much to her...

Though, you're right-- the ricochets are horrible and don't do her any good...!

Yep...

The door shuts and the skimmer pulls away.

Fred riddles the transport as it pulls away until he's out of ammo. Reloading, he says, "Well, she was really good in bed. Where's my other stuff? Did someone catch the mounts yet? It's a hellova long walk back."

No... but you realize you can holler to the lizard-girl to take care of it.

She comes out from behind the rocks, grabs the rifle and... (being an experienced sand-worm hunting nomad and all) she makes the shot no problem.

Getting back to Donjebruche is no problem-- the nomads have an ATV for hauling worm carcasses around.

It's up to you guys to plan your next move now and/or tidy any loose ends that you perceive....

Marcus gets up and dusts himself off. He says,"I hate that lady...I really hate her! Let's track her down...I have some unfinished business." he storms off towards the ATV.

"I definitely agree," he says, making sure he gets his stuff off the lizards. "How about we start at her house? I'm sure it's not really, but it's a start. You don't tend to have someplace ready like that without planning, so either it's a huge conspiracy and we're in over our heads, or it's someplace she got access to on short notice, which means there's clues. Even if it's just who owns the place."

Fred starts off to track down the dead riding-lizards for his excess stuff... but then... he starts to feel woozy all of a sudden. With the adrenaline dropping off all of a sudden... he realizes that he doesn't feel so good...!

You hear moaning sounds from one of the Hilidarians.... He seems to be recovering from the phaser's stun effect. (It's the first dude, not the one that took three hits to the face.)
