Marcus...

The Push Kick is from GURPS Martial Arts page 78.

Her kick damage is doubled... but is applied only as knock back.

I don't have my book to double check the odds of shoving you out like that-- if she has to make a certain amount to pull it off, I roll for it if you wish.

Either way, I will look it up when I get home....

Actually if you are going by the rules you roll the damage for the kick and double it (for the push kick) and for every increment of Marcus's str-2 he gets pushed back 1 yard. Page 78 in campaigns. so she would have to do 11 points of damage to knock him back 1 yard. He does get a roll to stay standing.

but if you want him to fall out to continue the plot it's cool by me.

Okay let's see...

[1d6=4]

She gets +2 per die for her Karate skill...

So if you can believe that her kicking damage does (at minimum) 1d6 damage, then she pulled it off.

4+2 = 6
x 2 = 12
12 > 11

OOC: Right I was pretty sure she could do it. But there was always a chance she could've rolled a 1. Regardless if he fell or not he is out of the transport.

I do think Fred should get a chance to shoot the vehicle though.

OOC: it was between AOA determined to the face and what I did...I guess I chose wrong! KHANNNNNNNNNNNNN!
I was shocked when you went for the torso.

The torso-armor really was in my notes, too!

It's done.

She *is* bleeding if it makes you feel any better....

Hence the emergence of the much maligned GM screen.

I think you had a real chance to take her down....

I mean you had a decent chance of just shooting her there for a second....

Should the ricochet kill/disable the figure-in-black...?

There'd be no dodge just...

what...?

1d6-3 hits on random locations...?

Would that be fair...?

...

I know I've stuck to the rules with Skexis and Fred previously... and Marcus is definitely a by-the-book kind of dude wrt rules....

[Ricochet... (1d6=2)]

Okay, she's only grazed by the ricochet... and took two slugs to the torso.

She's bruised up by the latter, eh...?

But if she were a PC, we'd definitely let her keep rolling.

And non-mook significant NPC's should get the benefit of the doubt occasionally.

Hopefully this suits everyone....

[Ricochet hit locations-- what they would have been... (3d6=10, 3d6=11, 3d6=12)]

The ricochets would have hit torso... groin... and left arm-- if they had hit.

No lucky head shot anyway....

I'm fine with it. He's got a soft spot for her anyway, even if she does happen to be the bad guy. ;)

No worries I didn't even think of her wearing armor (maybe it was my misconception of the Original Star Trek Universe where almost one wore armor)....my fault for being naive. I figured I have better odds of hitting with 3 shots instead of 1. My miscalculation.

At least I didn't get shot up this time!

Okay; I'll keep the ricochet wound to the left arm for the Cygnan because it's cinematic and all. I'll skip the groin wound-- I have no idea how to ajudicate that and I don't want to figure it out, either!

The armor was/is some sort of concealed ninja-appropriate high tech "flack jacket".

Given crazy stuff like Gangster World, Trelane, and the odd dude with the girl-who-changes-into-a-cat... you could almost get away with anything as long as it lasts for just one "episode" so that the status quo is not upset.

Of course... maybe we need to sic the canon police on Fred for his space suit and uzi.... :P

Speaking of "really hard"...

If you need Shove or Kick Push to work... "Feverish Attack: Mighty Blows" is a good option.
