A particularly shrivelled up nomad approaches you while the party packs up and prepares to leave. Rocky translates for you.
The old dude is pretty peeved about the slaughtering of the riding lizards and the murder of Rokerig's grandfather. In order to... uh... "acheive a proper balancing", he asks that you take him and a detachment of eleven warriors with him. As an aside, Rocky puts in that if they can do some minor looting at some point, that would help.
(While you're talking, you notice nomads stripping the bodies of the the two humans Skexis killed... and then dragging them out into the open sands. They seem to be setting up some sort of device there....)

You all load up on the ATV and head out.
It's a little bit out of the way, but you stop by a secret nomad outpost on the way back and pick up 11 "Drak" warriors.
As you get back to Donjebruche Trading Post... you notice the signal coming from the business district... just a few blocks from Red Kindjal Traders where you recently spoke with Muankaal.
Apparently... the signal is coming from a mega-scraper owned by Cygnosis Limited.

"Honest archaeologists? I say we throw these honest guys to the worms. See this hole? And this one? and this one?" he rants. "Illegal disruptors, no less. Tell Rocky and his pals, recycle this one, too.
As they decide whether to charge, he says, "Fells, I'd love to join you. but I got holes burnt in me, and I need some good drugs before I'm in top fighting shape. I did what I wanted, and drew their fire so you could take them out- I just wish I knew they had disruptors. Them dang things hurt!
"Now, the way I look at it, we can get some medical attention, and then maybe I might could get my hands on something that could help..."
(OOC: How hard is it to buy some heavy weapons or explosives? I was thinking of maybe spending some character points on gear, but then I'm not real sure how much you want us to go charging in and blowing the place up. Sounds a bad idea to me as a player, but Fred just lives for that sort of thing,)

Hmm...
[13 or less (Marcus), 13 or less (Jack), 9 or less (Skexis), 12 or less (Fred) Streetwise! (3d6=6, 3d6=10, 3d6=10, 3d6=10)]
(My, you all are a streetwisey bunch o' characters....)
There's a non-Frederation affiliated medical care facility that's sort of an open secret among scuzzy folk here. It's a couple blocks from Guido's, outside of the business district. A bit pricey, but they don't ask any difficult questions there....
You check Fred in...
[First Aid... (1d6+1=2)]
And wow... looks like those energy rifle burns were worse than we thought.
It will take some time to patch him back together-- especially if he doesn't want to have horrible scar tissue that will force him to do his casanova routine only in total darkness from now on....
...
[GM query: The hanger that the skimmer went into has to be at least 20 stories up.... How do you propose to get in there...?]
