What would be the proper Federation Commander map hex numbers for the hexes identified in Zombie Apocalypse? The hex numbers printed in this scenario in Communique #64 are not Federation Commander map panel hex numbers. The corner hexes are easy to figure out, but what about those other hex numbers that are mentioned? Are they the hex numbers from the Star Fleet Battles map?
The FC hex numbers for both sizes, small and large, will be needed.
As an aside, when specific hex placement is required and since every map panel has the same hex numbers, how are the map panels distinguished one from another? It seems as if I remember reading something somewhere that this type of set up placement description was taboo and anathema for scenarios.

Yes... those hex numbers are left overs from the old SFB 42x30 hex map.
2101 corresponds to the middle of the top row.
2130 corresponds to the middle of the bottom row
0115 corresponds to the middle ofht eleft side
4215 corresponds to the middle of the right edge.
That one just got past us reviewers... sorry 'bout that.

Actually, I caught it. Unfortunately, due to my computer failure, I didn't get it in in time. Oh well.
The important point is that the rule in question gives you the relevant ranges for the neutral zone. The hex numbers are purely examples. You don't actually need them. Just use the range numbers and you will be fine.
