Frax ships are avaliable ? I thought they weren't covered by the Reference Rulesbook 6th edition.

It says, "Any ship available in FC" so the Frax ships would seem to be available.

I would not play the Subs - too boring to play against. And the axion torpedo boats I think are not as good as in SFB. But the Frax FF uses disruptors, phasers and drones only, which should be fine.

Terry is correct. Any currently published ship for Federation Commander that appears on the Master Ship Chart or has been published in a Communique or Captains Log, is allowable.

The following is the round one match ups for Frigate Wars.

I need everyone to confirm their ship selections (I have abbreviated, but hopefully my abbreviations are understandable).

Also, if you do not see your name in the list, please let me know as soon as possible.

Everyone make sure I have your email address or that a valid email address is part of your profile (we'll need this for sending game updates, etc).

I am allowing 48 hours for any ship selection changes or other requests. At that point everything will be closed and locked in. If I have no ship selection for a participant at that time, they will be removed from the competition (and the board updated). Assuming all information is finalized, I will be sending out starting position and turn 1 Energy allocation requests on Wednesday. I will also be posting the full competition schedule at that point.

Just a heads up, one player will be allowed to start at 0328 or within two hexes of that hex. The other player will be starting at hex 4003 or within two hexes of that hex.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

After moderating many of his games, it'll be a change to have him as an opponent.

So, I am flying the Fed FF and I am going against iago who is flying at Hydran DWF. Right?

Yes, sir. That is correct. You will be in the Federation FF and iago is in the Hydran DWF (Buffalo Hunter Destroyer) minus fighters

Come on storeylf... you know you want to jump in and round out the 8th place.
A frigate is quick and easy to do...

and besides, Fred really doesn't want a bye on the first round. :wink:
