Additional WYN ship choices?

In the Captain's log 37 history section, and in the Scenario Attack on the Wyn Cluster, it says that the WYN owned a small number of Orion LRs and CRs (and one BR). When selecting a WYN battleforce, may they use those Orion-class ships as is, but without the ability to double engines?

Yes, they can. They can use those Orion ships with two changes:
- They cannot double their engines (as you already stated).
- Their weapons choices are more limited. They use the weapons selection given in (5L1) for their class, but suffer the same limitations on "foreign" weapons listed in (5L8).

Presumably these WYN "orions" should have lower point values as well?

Orion ships used by the WYN retain the same point value as the Orion ships. It just isn't worth the bother to make a point change for the engine doubling.

No cloak. That is true Orion only.

Don't they also lose the stealth rule? IIRC the Orions insisted on no pirate-specific changes (stealth, engine doubling, stolen cable trivideo channels built in to the communications system).

No, they keep the stealth. That is inherent to the design, so it stays.
