Hello.
*In other game systems, the effect of Orion stealth coating does not apply to the ship while cloaked. Is the same true in Starmada?
In other words, if a cloaked Orion ship is detected, can it be assumed that the -1 to-hit penalty the detected cloak still applies is not cumulative with the standard -1 a non-cloaked Orion would get from its countermeasures?
*In SFB, the WYNs have a selection of "WYN-Orion" ships; "export" models which are missing certain Orion Pirate benefits (such as engine doubling or the option to have a cloaking device). There's a thread about FC WYN-Orion ships over here, where a ruling has recenly been made about how to use standard Orion Ship Cards to represent WYN-Orion hulls.
Are there dedicated WYN-Orion ship displays in Distant Armada, or is there a guideline allowing the WYNs to use the pre-existing Orion Pirate displays (so long as the ignore the cloak and engine doubling rules for such ships)?
