Hmmm... went back, re-read the section... then re-read the example more closely:
relevant part here: If the Romulan
ship has three batteries and nine points of power, it
could block all of the damage to Shields #1 and #2 and
some of the damage to Shield #2.
Dang! We read that section multiple times to determine the reinforcement nad still got it wrong. Funny how easy the error is to see once someone else sees it first.

Yeah... some adjustments will need to be made tonight.

We read it as "each element" meaning each pulse, not each shield element. Oh well.

Another example of how FC is not like SFB... I should know better.

We have time to fix this as scotto has a family medical emergency. He has other, more important, things on his mind right now.

OK. Now that 4 months have passed and the ACTA playtest crush is over, let's get back to these nad get this campaign wrapped up.

No hurry on the ladder! I will need it before the winter is out though...
