The lower nacelles with the normal neck looks conspicuous, a lower neck streamlines the ship. :)

I like that. It looks much sleeker with the shorter neck.

Ditto - I like the shorter neck too. From this view, the ship looks fast and sleek.

The battlecruiser does the same thing though and it will always have the full-height neck.
