Starline 2500 minis are live on Mongoose site

Post by Scoutdad »

Mongoose Publishing just went live with the pre-order page for the first round of minis:
Federation, Klingon, and Romulans.
Fleet boxes, Squadron boxes, and blisters... Oh my!

And they have posted the requirements for obtaining one of the promotional Federation Command Cruiser miniatures as well.
Pre-order more than $159 dollars of Starline 2500 miniatures and receive a promotional CC.

While I want ALL of the fleet boxes, I really want to get them through my LGS to help support local businesses. I guess I'll have to miss out on the CC. :(

Booooo! While I really like the mini, I've invested so much in 2400 that I can't see myself spending $160 to get a $15 ship. :?:

And there goes any kitbashing I'd want to do with that different saucer.

I know it's business and I don't want to start a flame war, so I'll stop now.

I also saw this comment from Matthew Sprange over on the Mongoose Forum: Don't worry if you cannot take advantage of the deal now -- there will be plenty of opportunities to pick one up throughout 2012, probably for free, so don't panic.

:) So there is hope.
