What is the difference between the 2400 & 2500 series?

1) Starline 2400 is 1:3788 scale, Starline 2500 is 1:3125 scale.
This makes the 2500 about 20% bigger.

2) Starline 2400 where sculpted as masters by a succession of talented (and one novice) sculptors in brass, epoxy, and white metal.
Starline 2500 were designed as computer generated 3D models and then the masters ere printed in a 3D prototyper.
This gives the ST 2500s waaaaaay more detail than the ST2400s.

3) The Starline 2400 are cast in pewter. The ST2500s are cast in white resin.
