I know it was mentioned on Facebook at one point, but at the time I thought "I can't afford minis and so I'm not qualified" and thus completely forgot what was required to get that special mini.
Well, things have changed and I just ordered my first squadron box...

The heavy command cruiser (CB) is not available as a miniature. Its merely a computer image at this point in time.
The special edition miniature was the Federation CC.
You needed to order $150 in pre-release itmes to qulaify for this miniature. At first, the offer was to end on 12/5 which was why I placed my pre-order instead of wating til the merchandise was readily available.
Last word from Mongoose is that the offer will be extended through the new re-release date.
