If you don't get one I'll drop out. That will put you on an even number of players and allow saved to keep orions at 1.05.

I'm not all that bothered about the tourney in and of itself, I was only intrigued in trying out the slightly odd squadron I had over a few games, which I'd have to ditch at 1.10 anyway.

Lee, I will just have to choose a different fleet. To be honest Orion's with photons doesn't require much strategy anyway, I just wanted to prove a point I tried to make in the first tournament. How many kzinti players are there?

Edit: I will just take Kzinti.

Still assuming the client allows the squadron I want, it didn't as of last night - Paul mentioned an update that I assume will turn up in time.

Paul Franz says it is fixed and just needs to be pushed out. He and I spent about 90 minutes last week with me showing him in game some issues with the FCOL client, so I expect he has not pushed out the new client yet because he is working on some of those fixes as well. I'll remind him of the tournament start date.

When you next see a client update, you should check your fleet again. It should be fixed at that point.

So far, I have only received valid squadron selections from the following players:

M1A1DAT (Klingon C7, D5W, D5)

Krellex (Frax BCH, CA, CW)

Ncrcalamine (Orion 2 x BR, 2 x DR (all four with photons forward and a PH-G on one side and a PH-1 on the other side))

The_Rock (Romulan VUL, KE, FH)

All squadrons are due by this Sunday the 29th.

What's an Orion DR? The obvious mistypes can't fit. DBR would be over pointed (459), DW would be under pointed (409), PR is the same as DBR so also overpointed?

I made a mistake in reading Nicole's e-mail when I posted the above. It should have been:

Ncrcalamine (Orion 2 x BR, 1 x DR, 1 x DW (all four with photons forward and a PH-G on one side and a PH-1 on the other side))

DR is the counter abbreviation for the Double Raider even though DBR is printed on the ship card.
