Fed DNM Build thread- Finished!

Post by iams »

Hi guys, yes I know another thread by me. I've just had a few days off, and I've just had an urge to work on SFB stuff.

And continuing my DN theme, its time for the Medium Dreadnought.

I had a saucer and a hull leftover from other projects so I came to this. I was going to just make the DNF, with the plasma torpedo launcher on the neck, but this project seemed more interesting.

Again lacking the SSD, but extrapolating from information, this is a DNL with addons if I recall correctly. Using an SSD from as SFC:OP mod, and shots of a DNM someone did (I believe Mike Raper) I concocted this. I used a bit of artistic license for some details.

I'm going to attach the torpedo bar after I paint it so I can get those hard to get areas, but this is it on.

DNM finished! Same notations as on the DNW, paint could use some work, and I got too happy with the paint pen. Sorry about the bad photography. The torpedo launcher just barely clears the bridge, but it looks neat.

Movie-style "rollbars" ain't my thing, but nice execution on the mini, regardless.

Looks good. I really like that last pic a couple of posts up, the 3/4 front from above and starboard. Very nice!
