Starline 2500 Squadron Box Price Increase

Post by Jean »

Matthew Sprange at Mongoose has written: Just to let everyone know, we have had to put the price of the Squadron box sets up to $39.99 / 29.99 [pounds] (the latter including VAT).

This is something we knew we would have to do at some point, primarily due to the labour involved in creating these sets. We have held the lower price for as long as we can, in no small part due to players with the original Starline 2400 sets, who had always paid a little more than that for their models. Regrettably, the time has come to set them at a price point we can sustain over the next few years.

However, if you have already pre-ordered any squadron sets, the price has been locked for you, you won't be paying any more (and thank you for supporting us early on!). We are also currently locking the price of the Cloaked Romulan sets, so these will now be the same price as regular Squadron sets.

The rest of the A Call to Arms: Star Fleet range remains unaffected.

[Edited to add the rest of the text that was accidentally suppressed and writing in pounds since the program here hates the symbol. :(]

I loved them at $30, and I was glad to get one of those sets, that said I totally understand the need for the increase.

Will this increase go across to the blister packs as well?

Aabh, no it won't, it seems from the (now-restored) complete text of Matthew's note.
