I wouldn't feel too bad about it. Paul is undefeated in FC online tournament play. Moreover, in his report he indicated you almost blew up his Firehawk. Good going there.

I also got blowed up good in my battle with Nick (logical proof). These Orions have gained my respect, like feds without power or maneuverability issues! In any case, great game Nick!

Photon heavy Orions are a real challenge to deal with and fun to play.

I expect Lee's extreme drone Orions are going to be difficult to deal with as well.

My orions are rock scissors paper I expect. If you can handle drones then you win, if you can't then you struggle badly. I expect Erics Kzinti to wipe me, plenty of drone defense and plenty of firepower as well.

I was just after something a bit different and amusing, I'm not too concerned if I lose all games.

Eric is trying to find time to play our game, but has indictaed that he may have to default.

Jim, If he does default, but we can then get in our game at some point prior to the end of the tourney will you be ok adjusting our scores based on that game. I'd like to play the game and take the real result, even if it does mean I go from a win by default to a loss.

Lee -- If no participant in the tournament objects, I am fine with your proposal (it is very sporting of you).

Participants -- If anyone has an objection, you need to post it here prior to February 28. Otherwise, I will assume there is no objection. Note that in the event Lee later loses this match it would affect the tie breaker point scores of all of the players who end up playing Lee and Eric in the tournament.

VulcanDropout wins!

Post by Krellex »

VulcanDropout sinks the Frax armada. This was a really good fight, and things were pretty even until my CA got tractored and dragged off behind the woodshed with three angry Gorns, and that is when we called it. I would have had a CW and a hurt BCH, while he had just a beat up BCH and two other healthy ships. I have never seen dice so hot the first couple turns of this game. It was like we couldn't miss. His carronades really, REALLY hurt and he kept them in range basically the whole time. All in all this was a great game!

I had the opportunity to catch a turn or two of the action between Phil and Fred. It was an exciting contest to watch.

I can play late this week. 2 March evening, 4 March Morning (Mountain Time). That would probably be best for Lee, being in the UK.

Lets say we start 10:00 here (UTC-7), I think he's UTC-0, right. So that's 17:00 his time.
