And the Gorns win after three turns.

Phil played a very solid plasma game with his Gorns versus my attempt at saber dancing with the Seltorians.

He lost his Gorn BDD. I lost my Selt DN and took large amount of damage on one of my Selt CLs.

A Gorn Anchor got my DN in the end because I remembered too late that I needed to EM to prevent it.

Regardless, it was great fun.

Archer beat by ncrcalimine

Post by Archer »

Foiled again by damned orions!

Ncrcalimine played a great game. It was actually really close, I crippled 2 ships, damaged two others beyond 50%, but lost my NCA, BCH, and my remaining NCA was about 40% damaged when I threw in the towel. He still had 3 phaser Gs, and would have 4 torps back next turn on 2 or 3 platforms. I was doomed by attrition of multiple ships vs. one. In any case, really well played and a well deserved victory for ncrcalimine!

Patrick and myself started playing on saturday, I think we are planning on trying to get a few evenings (for me anyway) in this week.

Gorn "My CL has taken the brunt of the damage"
Orion "2 shield damage classes as the brunt!"

On the other hand I've taken about 10 shield damage. Someone painted the glow in the dark lime green paint on my ships, and not 'deep space black' stealth paint.

As neither side has an overloadable weapon and getting close to each other is not easy this isn't looking a fast game, but things could change :)

Paul (The_Rock)'s opponent (Savedfromwhat) had to dropout. If anyone else is left in this position, Paul would be interested in a quick substitute game for this round.

I'm a half hour away from my tourney game, and FCOL does not believe I subscribed. See, I bought a subscription to SFBOL and even though I have time on FCOL, it reset FCOL into demo mode.

It has been hard to schedule this. I didn't realize because I have not played FCOL since the last tourney game. So I am SOL.

Can anyone get ahold of Paul right now?

Ok, let's go with another two or three days to finish the outstanding games.

To get us back on track, I may decide to go with the next round starting on April 10th with that round ending on May 10th.

Would love to play rather than whatever happens when your opponent drops. Anyone available to sub for my opponent this round?
