Copy came in. It's a game folio, huh, was wondering why it was $35.

Color map is expensive. Counters are expensive. Being in a box would raise the price by $5-$7 and we didn't think you'd want to pay that for a box.

You'd be right, actually. :)

The game will most likely get binderized with the chits in a Plano-style box. Just waiting for the back to school sales in July-August so I can buy the items cheaper.

Heh... I just realized that the last 4 Hex & Chit games I've purchased, including this one, did not come with boxes.

Is there a proper reporting format?

In theory, the proper format is

Rulenumber -- further location inforamtion if it's a really big rule and the issue may be hard to find -- what's wrong -- Justification: why do you think it's wrong -- optional, proposed solution -- justification of solution. -- name, date of report.

Some things obviously don't need such a formal report.

L1.23 you mis-spelled "Mairne" in the second line. --Joe Smith, 13 Sept 12

That's fine.

Some things need a formal report

L5.26 You screwed this up. It should be higher. --Joe Smith, 13 Sept 12

That kind of report is all but useless. What is wrong, why do you think it's wrong, what do you want done, why do you think that's right.

L5.26 This rule conflicts with rule L7.123 which says that the adjustment for trees is -2 and this says -1 should this should be changed to -2 and I'm pretty sure the other one is right and this one is wrong because the -2 is repeated on the reference card while this -1 is not.--Joe Smith, 13 Sept 12

Complete name is needed so we can ask you for clarifications. Date is needed so we can compare multiple reports and tell which edition you're using.

Star Fleet Marines: Counter-Attack Now Available

Star Fleet Marines: Counter-Attack has empire-specific counters for the Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Kzintis, Gorns, and Tholians. Each empire gets 140 counters for a total of 840 counters. These will be the first Gorn and Tholian counters for this game system.

On close inspection, you will find that while the types of counters are the same for each empire, the art for the counters is empire-specific. These traditional-style counters are designed to be easily distinguishable on the modern-style maps that Star Fleet Marines contains.

You will need Star Fleet Marines: Assault or Star Fleet Marines: Last Stand to use these counters, although they can be used on any map you wish.

These color counters are only available as a PDF.

Star Fleet Marines: Counter-Strike Now Available

Star Fleet Marines: Counter-Strike has empire-specific counters for the Interstellar Concordium, Orion Pirates, Hydrans, Andromedans, Lyrans, and WYNs. Each empire gets 140 counters for a total of 840 counters. These will be the first Interstellar Concordium, Orion Pirate, Andromedan, and WYN counters for this game system.

On close inspection, you will find that while the types of counters are the same for each empire, the art for the counters is empire-specific. For example, the Orions have "acquired" vehicles from nearly all the empires.
