F&E Ships

I was wondering if there are plans for any of the following ships?

Federation-CVA, CVB, DDE, DN+, ECL, FFE, FFS, FV, NAC, NPF, NSC, NVL, NVS, SCS
Klingon-C8S, C8V, CVT, D5P, D5V, D6D, D6P, D6V, E4A, F5E, F5V
Romulan-CNV, K4R, K5L, K5S, KRM, PHX, SE, SKB, SKE, SKF, either SN or SNB-which ever is not currently in FC, SPB, SPE, SPF, SUB, SUP, WH
Kzinti-CLE, CMV, CVA, CVE, CVL, EFF, MPF, PFT, SCS, SF
Gorn-BDE, BDS, CV, DE, HDE, HDP, HDS, HV, PFT, SC, SCS
Orion-CVL
Tholian-BW, CVA, PCE, PFT, SC
Hydran-AH, CR, CV, DE, HR, ID, LC, LP, NCV, NPF, PFT, SC, TR, UH
Lyran-CV, CVL, DWE, DWS, FFE, PFT, PFW, SC, SCS

I understand that 99% of this list are BoM ships, but I am curious. THey are also all found in F&E 2010, and it would be cool to run a campaign using F&E with the actuall ship types rather than substituting the base hulls. Just a thought.

I think you've answered your own question, Mattruh. Most of the list there are carriers, escorts, PFTs or space control ships, and those will be dealt with when Borders of Madness comes up.

In the meantime, you can use the SFB ships with the Project Z rules to convert them to FC.

Also remember: The next 12 issues of Communique will each have an escort in it. You may see several of the ones on that list.

As 'dad points out, there will be a run of escorts published in Communique over the next 12+ months. I believe you will see a run of scouts, too. So, you have a decent chance to see some of those types of ships over the next year or so. Some of the war cruiser scouts (e.g. Fed NSC and Klingon D5S) have already been done in Communique, and should be found in Commanders' Circle.

There are some in your list that are not carriers, escorts, PTFs, and scouts and deserve some special mention:
Fed DN+: Federation Commander skips over some intermediary ships. Just use a normal FC DN instead (which is equivalent to the DNG).
Romulan K4R, K5L: I thought the K4R was done somewhere already. The K5C was done in Briefing #2, but the "modern" version hasn't been done yet. We can always ask for that to be in the Communique list.
Hydran HR, LC, TR: These, like the DN+, will probably not be seen as they are just intermediary ships that were quickly replaced. Instead, just use the Mongol (for the HR), Lord Marshall (for the LC), and Tartar (for the TR). And earlier version of the LC is found in Briefing #2.

i believe the skiff's in last months communique maybe a preview of a possible direction that gunboats(PF) may "look like".
