Looking for extra center nacelles for Fed DNG and Klingon C8

Post by Sllarr »

Hi there,

I am going to try to kitbash a 2500 Fed DNG and a 2500 Klingon C8 into 2400 Battleships. I need extra center nacelles in order to do that.

Would anybody here have these for sale ? Maybe as leftovers from the initial units that had QC problems ?

Not to dissuade you, but you do realize that both of those battleships will be released in the next round of minis.

I think he intends to use these as battleships in-company with 1/3788 Starline 2400 minis, as he stated.

I'll note the obvious, that the existing SL2400 Fed BB and Klingon B10 minis are available. However, an SL2500 mini plopped into a field of smaller SL2400s certainly would be imposing.

Yes, but will be ridiculously HUGE. I like the details on the 2500 line but not the scale. That's why I intend to keep gaming at 1/3788 scale; in order to keep the gaming board (Hex based by the way) in a more manageable size.

I want to drop a few 2500's in the fleet but not go through a complete scale/fleet swap out.

My thoughts exactly :-)
But not a straight "plop". I want to make them look more like a BB than just oversized Dreadnaughts.

Gocha.
Just checking to make sure you weren't reinventing the wheel, as it were.
