Please note in the description when the FC cards are not color (such as these), so that those of us who don't like non-color cards can skip buying them.

Eric, if the cards are part of something we print such as Captain's Log or its supplement, then usually they will be in B&W. We do hope to create a six-pack of the battle tugs that will be in color on e23.

If you ever have a question about it, do feel free to ask. I'll try to remember to see if that can be part of the description on e23.

As always, thanks for helping make things better for everyone.

All the other Captain's Log supplements (39,40,41,42) with FC ships had them in color, which is why i was so surprised to see them in B&W in #44. I'll be sure to ask in the future.

The four battle tugs in CL44: Fed, Klingon, Kzinti, Lyran
The two battle tugs in CL44S: Hydran, Gorn.
The one battle tug not printed (sorry Gary): ISC.
Don't actually have battle tugs to be done: Romulan, Orion, Tholian, Seltorian, WYN, Vudar, Andromedan.

So, no, none are Romulan because Romulans don't actually have a battle tug.

Well, at least the BTs as presented gave me ideas for how to one day present the Maesron light and heavy battle tugs (shown for SFB in CL21, and thus available in the near future via e23 for anyone so interested) or some of the "tug-like" Bolosco hulls, for that matter.

(The ISC battle tug would still be welcome at some point, all the same.)

Well, maybe, if we ask nicely, Steve and Jean might be willing to let a 7-ship ePack through so that all of the battle tugs could be handled in one shot ...

(I doubt it, but it never hurts to ask.)

Well, in fairness, I"m not overly excited about them, since they are currently set to be Borders of Madmess material.

(In the Maesron case, they do have certain units from SFB which could one day be eligible for an Omega BoM; but getting the units compatible with "vanilla" FC formally published would be a higher priority.)

Captain's Log #20 is now on e23!

http://e23.sjgames.com/item.html?id=ADB5720

This June 2000 issue was inspired by a piece of cover art that Andy Goodwin submitted. We liked it so much that we had a contest to write a story to match it, and printed the best three stories. It was 112 pages long.

HISTORY included the three stories (and nothing else; the stories took up 21 pages).

COMMUNICATIONS continued as a department. This included conventions, tournaments, awards, After Action, Command the Future, Dirty Little Secrets of Mail Order, Input Guide, Proposals Board, Why, Ten Questions, and Ask Ketrick. (Some of these were elements that moved to Database in later issues.)

VENUES included Star Fleet Warlord, Play by Email, SFB On Line, Galactic Conquest, and Star Fleet Command.

DATABASE remained the place for new SFB material, including articles on the Omega Sector, Shipyard Report, the Uthicki (a new Magellanic empire), Battle Force 600, an example of black hole movement, new stuff for Prime Directive, Brothers of the Anarchist, and Murphy's Laws of SFB.

SCENARIOS include five new ones (SL178-SL182).

TACTICS included Victory on Line and several pages of Term papers.

FEDERATION & EMPIRE included news about the upcoming Advanced Operations, Rules & Rulings, another look at SIDS, Marine Assault, the War Plans File, Tactical Notes, Economic Notes, and the first draft of Depot Level Repair.

NEW SHIPS for SFB included four for Omega, six Magellanics, Klingon ships for the Middle Years, and Kzinti light cruiser variants.
