Given that semperatis has scratchbuilt an entire fleet of Auroran miniatures for himself (a process which you once helped out with, by sending him the nacelles needed to put the DN together), I would have thought asking about whether or not he had any further plans for other 2500-series minis may not have been an entirely impertinent follow-up to his most recent post...

Sorry, Gary

just meant as good fun.

That actually is a pretty good looking FRA cruiser.

I took Tony's drinks reply as a complement Gary,as in 'cheers',for a job well done. 8)

Sorry Gary, but there won't be any other 2500's in the Auroran fleet other than more OCL's,which verses the 2400 ships make excellent BC's size wise.

Fair enough; and it sure is.

It's from a drinking game which was started over on the BBS; one shot for every post I made about a non-Alpha topic in a thread that wasn't related to something non-Alpha.

(I'm not the most popular person in the ADB fandom.)

Fair point; the POLs might be a bit big as FFs relative to those you have already, and ditto the new CR mini.

Are you planning on modifying the 2500 CLs to add in some of the BC's features (like the port and starboard shuttle bays) are are you gonna use them as-is?

I've still to paint in the small port/starboard shuttlebays, hence why there are no side on views. To be accurate,I should really add the trio of photon launchers to the bow of the ship, but I think it looks good as it is.

Sounds good; will you be posting more pics once you're done?

(And have you considered showing them off over on the Mongoose boards? They have a similar thread to this one for the 2500s, if you wanted to pop in.)

Thought I'd share some of the Fed ships I've been working on while I wait for SL2500 Kzinti to be released.

NCF-1682 Stinger:

NCL-1501 Reliant:

There is a second NCL, the Putah, that is not appearing at the moment because I have terrible photos of it. The 'shipyard' (as it were) has a BCG and DNG sitting on it being painted; it seems like two ships is about my limit when it comes to working on them simultaneously.

EDIT: Went and found a picture of the Reliant that wasn't as wide as house on a trailer... sorry about that guys.

Just saw this "show off" thread after I posted my Mobile Base in it's own thread. Here are a couple of the shots for showing off:

Wow, that base is incredible!

Are the banners and lettering hand-painted, or are they transfers?

Jon -

See my comment in the other thread, if you would like assistance in making your existing photography usable for ADB/Mongoose.
