Federation Ship Pack #1 (observation)

Post by Monty »

I don't know if this was posted elsewhere. In the Federation Ship Pack #1, the squadron scale Fed Frigate's right battery is the power shade color and not the battery shade color, plus it's clickable.

If you click it a checkmark will appear in the square, which is kinda neat, but none of the other controls on the SSD behave that way.

come to think of it, it would actually be pretty neat if all the controls worked that way so I could track Damage Allocation on my iPad.

Interesting...

I reloaded and the shading differences are gone, strange.

...it looks like all the blank boxes are checkable if I use the Macs built in PDF viewer. Adobe viewer only lets me click the one battery box and none of the others.

Can't select-check any of the boxes on the iPad built in PDF viewer or Good Reader.

so

What makes the PDF system boxes editable?

Looks like the same behavior on the others SSD packs.

Not complaining at all. In fact, if the labelled boxes behaved this way it could be quite useful.

It never even occurred to me that you could do that with the PDF SSDs. That's really rather useful when gaming with an iPad!
