I can hopefully take you through the online client as well if you haven't used that. Are you on skype (voice comm is extremely useful).

Manawom -- You are in with the Kzintis with 2 x CL and a DW for 298.2 points total. Please e-mail to me your real name and e-mail address when you have a chance. Welcome aboard and thanks for helping us keep an even number of players!

Neal and I got through four turns of our game today. We will be continuing on Monday evening at 7 PM US Central time. It is still a fairly close match that could go either way. It has been among one of the more interesting FC games that I have played over the past year or so.

My match with Neal is over.

It went to the end of the 1st Impulse of Turn 10.

Neal's Lyran CC and CW were destroyed.

My Federation NCA (Chicago) and NCL (Groton) were both crippled.

I also burned through all of my drones and ended up spending 15 VPs to launch three suicide shuttles toward the end of the match.

Neal is both a solid player and a tenacious player. It was a pleasure to play him.

Manawom and myself have played our first turn. Hopefully carrying on Saturday 11:00pm UK time.

I firmly deny any rumours that the Orions have hacked the client (or bribed the developer) to install some English dice, indeed 1 of my bolts did actually miss.

Those crafty Orions.

I did some checking.
Under "extreme " questioning the die roller for FC online is actuallynot computerized but Ricky Gervais getting back at us americans for not getting his English humor and ripping off "the Office".

I knew I smelled fish and chips.

Orions beat the kzinti.

Manawom hadn't realised that carronades could have extra power dumped in at the point of use, and took a lot more damage than he expected after turning into me. As he seemed to be familiar with the game up to that point it hadn't occured to me to mention anything about carronades. So a slight tinge of guilt, as I don't really like winning due to someone not knowing a rule.

On the other hand I think I was probably going to win anyway by that point.

M1A1DAT lost to Monty. The Lyrans, unable to set up a good, telling blow, and making several maneuver errors, were pummeled by plasma and defeated.

How did the larger map make things? Was that a factor in you being unable to get a good telling blow?
