Hello All,

As per the description in 5M2a, can the ship that reinforces a strand of web be the same ship that lays the web?

Thank you...and another question...can a ship that is laying web pay an extra point(s) to reiforce the web? So, can the laying ship pay 7 points to lay one hex and give it a strength of 1?

I can't see anything that would prevent this. So, yes, go for it.

Just note that the strength points will still dissipate each turn, and will be effectively diluted as each hex is added. So, to maintain that strength of one, you will have to use 7 points every time a web hex is laid.
