The angles were measured on the original ST2400 Tug mini.
The dimensions of said ST2400 mini were also determined and then scaled up to ST2500 scale.
This was used to create a template for kit-bashing the Tug from a Federation heavy cruiser...

These were then transferred to a piece of balsa wood to use as a template.
No... the pin holes were drilled free hand.
Once the location was marked, and adjustable angle was set to the proper angle and the saudcer held against that while the Dremel was used in drill press mode to drill the holes.
