And I tend to use them for Fed Comm, more than ACTASF:

I went 3 per stand with an option for dice if needed. I think it looks ok and I can switch from the round ACTA style base to the standard SFB/Fed Com hex base.

For now used blu tac to hold the fighters. This way I can also go back to basics and used the included stands and go one per stand.

I like the look of these. I wonder if it would be possible to "stack" two of the 3-fighter platforms, with a short section of rod between, to allow a flight of 6 fighters per base?

(and I know I've said it before but DANG I love your fighters. 8))

Interesting option. The smallest peg is 1". Stacking 2 would be an interesting look.

To create bases for the Heavier 2400s, I used B-10 Base with small bolt and extension. The extensions come in several lengths.
