Ship Registry?

Post by Manchu »

I'm pretty new to the SFU. Is there a canon or even fanon ship registry? I'm wondering if there are famous (or at least established) ship names beyond what appeared in TOS and TAS. Thanks!

The SFU Starship Name Registry document is here:
http://www.starfleetgames.com/documents ... _Index.pdf
(that and all kinds of other goodies can be found using the site-index).

That lists essentially every established name for ships, up to it's most-recent update).

As far as "famous" names within the SFU, Fed cruisers like Hood, Kongo, and Lexington have had several notable fiction stories and battle scenarios written about them.

On the Klingon side, the battlecruisers Darkslayer and Destruction were both commanded by a famous captain.

There was also a famous Klingon frigate - the IKV Vandal.
