So how does epoxy putty/green stuff hold up against simple green? I've got some minis I want to prime and get shown, but I'm worried that if I mess it up, all my hard work will be lost.

Simple Green seems to be pretty mild as paint strippers go.

When I was stripping my Feds (but wanted to try and save the primer) I just checked them every hours or so.

I've never had any problems with "green stuff" or epoxy putty being weakened during the stripping process... but maybe I just got lucky?

I'd worry about Easy-Off, since it attacks CA glues pretty readily - given some time it might start to break down epoxies too.

Simple Green (and frequent progress checks) should be pretty safe.
