What is the targeting arc intended to be for Plasma-Fs on the plasma variant of the Federation HDW?
The Ship card in Federation epack 3 lists them as RP and I doubt that the intention was to have a couple of plasma racks aimed off to only the right side. The photon variant of the HDW has a pair of RA photons in that position.
Options
1) RP is a misprint of FP and the torpedos have a forward fire arc.
2) LP is left off and the arc is intended to be 1 tube LP and 1 tube RP
3) RP is intended to be Rear P and it was not noticed that this designation was in use for Right P.

It is Option #3.
The two rear-facing Pl-F torpedoes in on the Federation HDW should have AP arcs. It was indeed a typo confusing R-rear with R-right. The correct term is "AP" (for Aft Plasma). The arc is effectively the same as RH (Rear Half).
(Another part of the confusion is that the word "aft" has generally been phased out of use in Federation Commander. It is not "aft hull", but rather "rear hull", and so on.)
