Help... please.

Post by Scoutdad »

Hey guys, been rather busy dealing with ACTASF 1.2 for the last year or so and have gotten behind in Fed Comm.

Now, we are planning a big, all day session of Fed Comm this weekend.
SVC has asked us to play test the new fighter rules - which is cool. We are looking forward to that, but... I need someone's assistance.

Where (i.e., which Communique) are the latest and greatest carrier and fighter ship cards located?

Thanks in advance,

Lets see...
The Federation Strike Carrier is located in CL 37 and on the playtest section of Commander's Circle.
The Klingon D7V is located in the same places.
The Kzinti Strike Carrier is located in Comm 39.
The Lyran Siberian Tiger is in Comm 82.
The Tholian Black Widow is in Comm 114.
The Hydrans have the Scythian Escort Carrier in Comm 115.

I think that is all of the true carries out so far.

Thanks, Matt.

That was exactly what I was looking for.
Al carrier ship cards now printed and laminated... let the play testing begin.

Also, please be aware that there is an error with the the Z-Y fighters: they should only have two drones, not four. (Compare with their SFB equivalent. They should have the same drone load as the F-18B.)

Wow. There's a lot of stuff available for FedCom if you know where to look! Is that Federation Strike Carrier just a retrofitted heavy cruiser?

The conversion from CA heavy cruiser to CVS strike carrier is pretty extreme, but yes, a (very) few were conversions. The majority were new-build though.

Since this thread was resurrected, let's do one important update: the current rules for fighters are in Communique-128.
