A Call to Arms: Star Fleet Version 1.2 Deluxe - in the wild

Post by Nerroth »

My latest batch of ADB books arrived today, which includes a print copy of A Call to Arms: Star Fleet Version 1.2 Deluxe Edition:

There's also a large print edition each of Captain's Log #50 and Captain's Log #51; the CL50 and CL51 Supplemental Files; and the Star Fleet Battles Klingon Master Starship Book.

Does anyone else have have a copy of the new print book yet? And if so, what are your thoughts on it so far?

I got mine last week.

I have a demo game scheduled with some new potential recruits next Saturday...
Wish me luck.

Luck!

Seriously, hope all goes well. Maybe you'll have time for some pics of your game, and an AAR?

Actually, this one was even better.
A gentleman recently moved to town who plays SFB. He's used to having to build a play group from the ground up, so he has been talking up SFB with his co-workers. They decided to give it a whirl and he posted the notice about a local SFB demo.

Both Mike Curtis and I saw in and jumped on it within seconds of each other.
A quick phone call later and the gentleman is ecstatic. Not only does he NOT have to build a new group... he has access to more local players than he's ever seen in a single location.
And he's willing to give Fed Comm, ACTASF, and eventually F&E a go.
