So I plan to buy all of the FedComm products next month.

Discuss general information about the Federation Commander gaming system here.

I am like 3/5s here for gameplay and 2/5s for nostalgia. I want the fiction (although it is a bit pricey to buy for the fiction) and there's lots of old stuff that I don't think has been reprinted elsewhere (like the Juggernaut and scenario in CL#1). And then there's fun stuff like "10 questions about Doomsday", which may not be relevant now but are historically interesting.

I mean I have all but one or two of CL #8-22, + CL #49 and I am still reading the stuff in the earlier CLs, as it's been like 20 years since I looked at them.

That said I am prioritizing the CLs that started including Federation Commander content over the earlier issues. However, I am prioritizing it after I get the FC and SFB material. And possibly F&E. The thing about F&E though is that I know I'll never play it so I'd only be getting it to mess around with it which does have its own fun. I also already have the 1990 edition which I did mess around with in the 90s.

Now if only I still had my Nexus magazines (all 18 ). Darnit.

Bummer about the Nexus issues. Some of those are tricky to find nowadays.

My big thing was Richard Kerr's "Shavings from the Workbench" articles. I bought entire issues off of eBay just to acquire those.

One nice thing for you, is you have the option of buying the pdf versions from ADB. I completed my collection back when eBay and dead trees were the only route.

I want dead tree copies but it'll be nice having PDFs as an option too.

I looked at the robot rules and they are very good.
Im just making a few simpler rules to test play balance and training.
There is a friend of mine down here that is playing this game.
So i have to get all FedCom starters, expansions and boosters.
I really dont need the miniatures...although, they do look great.

It may be your lucky day.
I'm in the process of reducing surplus stuff to free shelf space for new stuff.
And while I have every CL and every Nexus, I also have many duplicates of the earlier stuff acquired as part of SFB lots on evil-bay, craigslist, and through local game stores closing out their ADB merchandise.

Over the years, the gaming industry, game companies, and friends have been quite generous, so it's time to pay it back.

PM me a list of the CLs you're missing and I'll let you know which of them I have, plus I'll list duplicates of any Nexus I have.
If you're willing to pay shipping, they're yours.

I went ahead and ordered Klingon Border, Romulan Space, and the associated booster packs. I'll order the rest probably later this month (as long as the money I'm expecting is on time), but at least I'll get a look at the game before I do.

i am having a blast with this game.

So easy to play, the way SFB was meant to be played.

Academy, you could have skipped, since it's kind of the stripped-down smaller/cheaper introductory package. But it ain't hurting anything and all the bits it includes can be used with the "real" game.

I ended up buying a couple copies of it as gifts for friends, to try and hook them into the game.

i know i could have skipped academy...but i wanted it anyway for completon sake...

since KLINGON SPACE and GRADUATION are not available at this time, i might purchase a 2nd copy of KLINGON BORDER to offset those missing items...

i might be spending money needlessly, but i just want ALL that FedCom has to offer...who knows...im looking forward to a major fleet battle with FED CAs and KLI D7s soon...

Ooops.
Sorry... been a little side tracked.

I have several of what you're looking for. I'll get them together tonight.

Again, sorry for the delay.
