Thanks for the ACTA items in CL52. I looked at the ZFF, one of my favourite conversions, and thought that the stats given looked the same as the standard Kzinti FF. Doesn't the WYN version have a bunch of Disruptors in the nose (3AD worth from memory)? Wondered if there was a reason for the change?
Annoyingly, the reason I had to rely on my memory is that when I went to check my SFB SSD collection (which is complete apart from Module G3 and some of the playtest stuff), my WYNs have disappeared! There is a nice gap between the Lyrans and the ISC where they ought to sit. Might have gone astray during one of my posting rotations. Guess I need to look at grabbing the electronic SSD books (starting with C1, which I have just ordered via W23). Not at all annoyed about that.....
Nothing is quite as persuasive as a disruptor pistol on slow burn and a rotisserie......
thankfully... everything in CL is technically playtest.
ACTASF Book 2 will have additional WYN teaser stuff... including a ship roster based on the actual WYN ZFF frigate ship card.
