Kzinti Attack Shuttles
The rules on Fighters that appeared in Communique state that Kzinti fighters (aka attack shuttles) have two ph-3 and two drones, and that the small triangles should be used to mark drones fired. The Kzinti Strike Carrier ship card has fighters with two small squares (for the phasers, I assume) and *4* triangles. Do they have 4 drones each? If so, can they fire more than 1 per turn?
Yeah, there's been a bit of evolution in fighters in FC.
The two boxes are indeed for the two phasers. However, there should only be two triangles for the drones. This is also true of the Klingon Z-Y fighters, as they show four triangles, but should only have two.
That's just how things work through a slowly changing playtest.
