Miniature Work Petrov27

Post by petrov27 »

Hiya - thought I would share my latest near completion of the larger metal 3125 scale Fed Old CL. I modified it to look more like the Starline 2400 original mini with engines on pylons as well as a (not seen here) plastic sensor dish (from one of the plastic Fed Tug minis) on the underside

An interesting conversion. Your struts definitely capture the look of the ones on the tiny engines of the original metal mini.

Thanks - I Also used old plastic engines on it as they were roughly the same size as the metal OCL engines but required little or no cleanup and would be less stress on the plastic pylons.

Also used some Tenneshington decals along with some created by myself. Fairly pleased with the results

Tenneshington certainly appreciates the business.

More work underway - I think I have too many minis in progress :)

I like your color-choices for both the Klingons and Hydrans. Very traditional and clean.
